The Keyword Combinations tool is made to help you expand and manage your keyword lists, to use in PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns. For example on Google Adwords or Yahoo. The tool works by combining your existing keywords in as many ways as possible. This will allow you to make all your bids on the exact matches only, which in turn could help increase your CTR (Click Through Ratio). This is especially important with Google Adwords because the CTR is a factor in determining your ads position.
There are currently three modes to generate more keywords. In each mode you can optionally surround the results with quotes or brackets, and even add bid amounts and urls to have the results in Adwords power posting format.
1. Combine two keyword lists into one
You make two lists of keywords/frases and the tool combines them. For example "buy" and "order" in one list and in the other list your product names , "blue widgets" , "red widgets", "widgets". The tool will make every possible combination of the two, ie "buy blue widgets", "order blue widgets", "buy widgets" and so on.
2. Combine three keyword lists into
You make three lists of keywords/frases and the tool combines them. For example "buy" and order" in one list, "cheap" and "cheapest" in the second list, "widgets" and "red widgets" in the third list. Resulting in every possible combination of the three , ie "buy cheap widgets", "order cheapest widgets" and so on
3. Expand your current
Paste your keywords/frases list in the textarea and hit submit. All individual frases of two and three words will be put in every possible order.
All other frases will also be included, but not combined differently. Optionally add all unique single words to the results. Optionally keep words together (you would not want to split "on line" so it becomes "line on" for example) and other filters.
